Back to origanal post. I have just bought a (Mini DV DVR Sports Video Camera SpyCam MD80+8G TF) to attach to my bike it takes excellent footage and as i can fix it anywhere i am hoping to get some great footage of what happens behind as i commute.

I think the problem being that due to my job with all the ethnic & culturally aware study day we get drummed into us and that Southampton has a high Asian and Polish population I tend to jump to conclusions too quickly.

It just hacks me off the generalisation on a lot of the threads on here being Anti car drivers or someone else's fault all the time. In the 16 years I’ve been driving & riding the main culprits tends to be the L-Plate warriors or young drivers which seem to think they are driving/riding gods I come across on a regular basis.

In your rant you are forgetting other classic road users: the weekender warriors with 10,000 bhp under their asses coming out only when the sun shines and dry road! those are just as bad if not worse than car drivers! swapping lane without indicating, overtaking on brow of hills and corners...

Don't get me wrong cage drivers are worse and more dangerous...

But, what are 'cage drivers'? I've heard people talking about bad experiences with 'cage drivers' before, and I still don't know what they are! After 'googling' it, I have a feeling they're pick-up drivers/lorry drivers, am I right?

Has anyone seen that new biker advert on the telly? It tells drivers to think bike and look not once but look twice for bikers at junctions kinda thing. I think it's a great advert which promotes awareness of bikes.
